internet not working

i had a comcast guy come to my house to fix the cable and after that i had to turn off my modem and router for 15 seconds. and everytime i want to use the internet i need to do the same thing , so i called the comcast company and they said that it might be the router so i went to comp usa and exchanged my router..still diddnt work. is there anything i can do to fix it or do i need to have the comcast people come out and fix it?

Its more likey the modem or ISP. I would go with modem, I had 2 die out like thatm one completly died.

wait what do you mean by "everytime i use the internet i need to do that"? doesn't cable stay connected 27/7? Then shouldn't there be no everytime cause you're always connected? Can you clarify your situation a little cause I'm a bit confused, thanks.
