Internet History

Hey everyone! Need a little advice...

This might seem a little silly, but I would love to be able to create a list of my entire internet browsing history. I've surfed the web endlessly in the 3 years I've been using this laptop and the time has finally come for a real computer. I'm using Vista, and I know one way or another everything is stored in the log files. But that's all I know. So here's my question: How would you go about getting every link you've been to, and hopefully the date and time they were accessed. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Also, not sure if this matters, but I've used IE, Firefox, Safari, and Chrome.

There is a tool called IEHV which will pull up your history of site visits for Internet Explorer. I can't say if Windows saves a year's worth of site hits, but I know the list can get quite long.

I don't think Firefox does any archiving of that magnitude, though you could look in the history.

I appreciate the replies, guys.

Sounds like the OP wants to spy to me.

No, not at all. I've done quite a bit of web surfing and I would just like to have a log of all those wasted hours haha. That, and I'm sure there's plenty of useful information I've forgotten about and would benefit from seeing again. Maybe I should have also mentioned that I'm technologically inept. I don't even know if such a thing would be possible. But if it was, I would really be willing to make it happen. Thanks for the help though.

By default, its set just to keep them so long. In IE just right click the back tap on the top left and click History.

Well, most of the time I was using Firefox and Chrome, so those are the ones I would want most. I just read something that said I could get to old Firefox history through the 'history.dat' log file. So I'm looking into that, but I haven't found anything on finding old Chrome history.

Firefox ,you just click the History tap at the top, click, show all history.

Chrome, click
chrome_toolsmenu.gif
then click history.

Thank you for helping. I know how to get to the history through the browser, it's the history that's been deleted or too old to be saved that I'm trying to get to. My bad, I should have been a little more clear. But from what I've gathered, even deleted history is stored in the log files (don't even know what that means?). When I read that, I thought "oh, wouldn't it be great to get a log of all the hours and places you've been on the web." I just stumbled across this, something called ChromeAnalysis, and I'm hoping it's what I was looking for. But like I said, I'm technologically inept (for the most part), so it might take me a while to figure out if it is haha.
