Hi, im just new in using computers, specially wireless broadband.. I want to know if there is anyway that i can stop my connection from dropping out.. is there any command in the computer to always keep the internet connected? I had a neighbor who knows something about computers and their connection doesn't drop out because they are doing some commands on their computer.. is it possible that i can do the same thing on my computer?

Usually when a wireless connection is dropping it, its either a router or interference issue. Not sure what the person is telling you but I wouldn't believe him. If you have dsl/cable internet and using a wireless router, then the router is getting hot and killing the wireless or you have interference from another wireless device like say a cordless telephone. You can try changing the wireless channel on your router to see if that keeps you from dropping signal.

IP Conflict?

It could even be an IP conflict from someone else in the network. Usually you would see a little box pop up saying "IP conflict". I see a lot of connection drops that can be solved by simply unplugging the router and plugging it back in. This will reset it and may keep you connected. Its worth a shot :)
