internet connection speed

I have a 128kb/s=16kB/s(right?) connection sloooow I'm not able to watch video stream on the internet it stops and go and stops again anyway if I upgrade to 1.0Mb/s=125kB/s will I be able to watch almost anything that's outhere or will it make very litle difference if no what's the best speed not to high though cause its expensive

Yes you should be able to watch videos on the internet with very little or none delays in the video.
