Internet Configuration Type

How do we find out what's our internet configuration type? e.g. DHCP, Static IP, PPPoE??

all those thing are not mutually exclusive, you will probably have all of them

DHCP - If you have to ask then you are using it
Static IP - I doubt you have one, unless you pay extra for it
PPPoE - Do you have to enter a user name and password to connect, and are you on broadband?

Yes I am on a Broadband using a cable modem and I don't need a username and password. Anyway is there a way to find it out?

u can call ur ISP to find out anything

Cable is a static ip yes.. always..
Pppoe no thats dsl stuff not cable.
