Intel Vs AMD

Well Intel messed up legally, and they should compensate AMD for their shady business deals. I think IP law is getting out of hand though. Now Intel wants to file lawsuit against AMD for branching out their manufacturing, and saying it goes against x86 licensing...

This is why I am kind of worried about certain technologies like EFI. Intel gets their hands on it and starts to try to run the business side of everything.

It will be interesting to see how it pans out, but AMD is already in lots of financial trouble.

As far as products go, Intel just makes a better one at this current time, but AMD is not a bad product.
 
LOL what would be funny is if AMD put that money to a new chip that kills Intels next gen chips.

Talk about owning yourself ^-^

From what I understand, Intel under the Agreement/Payoff dropped all Cross licences desputes with AMD and wrote a new 5 year agreement.
 
Yeah, this is a crazy amount of money 1.25 BILLION not milion and they agreed to pay. All I can say is WOW did anyone have amd stock??? HEHE
