installing games through networks

then to play i just have to put the disc in the computer with the disk drive i used

will this also work with dvd games

also no-cd cracks are LEGAL, and allow you to play the game with out the prospective cd/dvd...

I cant link you to a site, but use google.com

no it is not for school, i wanted 2 know because i was getting a game that could be on cd or dvd, but the computer i wanted to play it on doesnt have a dvd drive ( i know it sounds old but for some reason it hasnt got one) but is the only computer i can play it on.

If you install it on the computer without the DVD drive, and its the type of game that has to have the CD in the dirve to play (most do), then everytime you want to play it I would imagine it must be in the drive of the other computer.

Your game play won't bee very good, if you're transferring CD data over a network in realtime.

yes but wouldnt a no cd crack work on the computer without the dvd drive. be careful when u search for a website on google some of them can be dodgy.

and as 4w4k3 said, gameplay will not be good over the network and does your system support this game? if it is a lower end computer it might not even play this game

Possibly, but any kind of crack or edit of the original software shouldn't be discussed here :D I have no idea if that would work, al I know is that in most games you need to CD to play the game.

yes my fault sorry.

anyway, i think that it will be more trouble than it is worth

It doesnt matter now because i bought the game on cd intead of dvd, i thought that playing a game through a network might not work that well. Also the computer without the dvd drive is not that bad and can play the game fine, it was custom built and never had a dvd drive put in, i think it is almost 3 years old but is still ok for using the internet and things and playing most games (the game i wanted to play was star wars battlefront 2) although it would be better if it was a little faster and is starting to get too old to play some games I think.
