in-built sound

looks i have to get a sound card because my in-built sound doesnt work with my speakers ive got creative megaworks thx250D and it just doesnt work!?! ive tried to update the drivers but no luck. any of you guys know much appreciated thanx.
P.S.can you guys name me some good sound cards that will work with my speakers preferably, sound blater.

also do you think i should get a digital sound card are they better than analog sound cards?
are skt939 asus nforce4 mobos come with digital sound

Most sound cards now have digital outs
