Hi all. New user to this site, and I must say very informative. I have had an issue for a while and so far, have been unable to resolve. Sometimes when I view websites or read emails with images, the pics can't be seen and a shown only as a small box with a red x in it. I have tried a whole heap of different setting in explorer/control panel etc. but have had no luck. I am sure it is an easy fix (well at least I hope so). It happens often enough to be annoying. I have forwarded emails on to friends etc where I can't view the images and they can see them just fine. Please help. Thanks in advance, Shelbyfan.

Generally a lot of websites use different applets for viewing PDF's, images and sounds. Programs like Flashplayer, Shockwave and Java need to be downloaded or updated. They are usually free to use and integrate well with web browsers (Firefox anyway! 
) Try right-clicking the missing image to see if it gives any info.

Thanks for your reply. I have updated java, and installed shockwave and flash player. Even after re-booting I still have the same issue. The website I was looking at is boatbrokers.com.au. I cannot view any picture at all on this site. I tried using both explorer and firefox. Any other suggestion? Thanks.

Have you got a pop-up blocker on? Because if you cannot view something IE and Mozilla usually have a pop-up saying that you should download something and it will work better.
