Hi all.

It#s 6pm and dark :-(

I'm currently typing this with my keyboard at a 45 degree angle, so that the light from my screen allows me to see what keys i'm hitting. This is no good.

I need to buy a backlit keyboard that has the following things:

It cant be flat/laptop style: I don't and cant type on those things.
It has to be regular sized: so it can fit on my desk.

Also, I don't really want to spend more than £40 - £50 on it, and that's because I am poor.

Does anyone have the right fit for this?

If so I'd be really happy, cheers, Ste.

(As you might have guessed I can't touch-type, I just don't have the patien

1. Go to this page: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/keys...multimedia-keyboard-back-lit-with-blue-or-red

2. Scroll down to more options - find similar products

3. Tick backlit keys then click find

4. Pick one you like :)

If you game, although it is at the top end of your budget:

or the older V5 for less:

is a pretty good keyboard. I'm not a big fan of gaming keyboards, I think they are a bit of a gimmick, however, I seem to be a minority as a lot of people stand by them, so you may find it better than the others. If you don't game then the original one I posted will be fine for just typing

Thanks savvy.

I have seen this as I've searched around and it looks great, good reviws as well but I hate the slim-line nature of the beast. I never feel comfortable with those keyboards. I always end up hitting the wrong keys. That's obviously my typing skills, but I still do prefer the fatter keys. I'm open to any other ideas! :-)

ill go with what Aastii said.hes from the uk, so he knows all the online stores yall have over there.he will know who has the best deals and what not.

Thanks all!

Have decided to go with the Keysonic KSK 8001 UEL. Has pro's and cons but at the cheap price I feel I can sell it on if it isn't right and still not lose to much money or time. Thanks especially to Aastii, all the best, Ste.
