I Want To Do A Server For Halo

I need help setting up a dedicated server for Halo. I want to have control over who I play with, and I want to be able to ban/kick cheaters. I guess, I'll just build my clan by invite, and give them each a password to access.

What kind of computer does it take for a server?
Does it have to be a server ONLY, or can I use it for other stuff too?
One machine has 160GB of storage, and the other has over 400GB of storage. I really don't want to use the machine with 400GB as my server, as it's my main computer.
The machine I wanted to use for a server has 1GB of DDR400, and dual IDE HDDs 80GB each.

I'm totally stupid on this. I have no idea if I can even do it, or where to begin. If someone could help me out, I would really appreciate it.
 
I don't think you can create a server for Halo, i doubt that a regular home computer has the capability to actually do that, if so youd porbably have to be an administrator or something.-then again, what the hell do i know. :D

All you need is a PC with Halo, and a fast internet connection.
