I thought I knew my temps...

I have alwase used MBM5 and it has alwase said my cpu temps are from 30-50C degrees depending on idle or what not. But recently I decided to try Speedfan. It is saying my temps are from 40-60C degrees.

So what im saying is, MBM sais my cpu is 34C at the moment while speed fan is saying its 44C. Which one should I trust?

Just check the temps in your BIOS they're the most reliable. Usually they can be found in the PC Health part of the BIOS.

Unfortunutly (Dare I say it?) my pc is store bought and the bios has locked me out from seeing my temps. I dont really want to do any wire mods or what not to try and unlock my board either. Thanks. Do you have any other ideas?
