also about the big typhoon i heard that it can get loose and mess up with the computer and crush the motherboard/cpu. for those of you who have one let me know how its been working for you. another thing is whether or not its worth it to get the factory overclocked 7900 rather than that non overclocked one, its only 50 more so it couldnt hurt. so let me know if theres anything i should know or compatibility issues. thanks!

That system will run nice and cool. I got aPrescott cpu with stock heatsink/fan in my X navigator and idles at 28C.. Nice choices !

Wow, that should run nicely.

The factory overclocked card is nothing that you couldn't do on your own, but if you have the money...

I've heard of some people supporting the Big Typhoon from the top of their case, I think you'll be fine with it. If you move your computer, I'd take it off jsut for safety reasons though.

the only thing is using the stock power supply in the case with such a nice rig. Not a good idea.

Good point, I didn't catch that. Use some of that money from not buying the factory overclocked card and get a decent PSU. You'll never regret it.

if i move the computer around like once in a while with the big typhoon installed will it come loose and damage the cpu or anything

Be sure that the PSU that comes with that case as at least 30A on the 12V, or more. That should be sufficiant power for your rig. But if it's less, consider buying a PSU with a better 12V rating. Visit the PSU 101 for more info

Shouldn't... but I'd be really careful with it considering how big that CPU cooler is.

Havn't heard of mobo warping or CPU damage caused by it's weight yet... but I have heard of motherboards tending to bend a little under the weight of the cooler. Like TheChef said, you might want to find some way to support it... just in case! :)

Otherwise, nice rig dude! Hope you enjoy it!
