I need some speakers and sound card

I got 200 dollars, i need some speakers and a nice sound card. I have 200 dollars in total no more. Please help, i no nothing about computer speakers and sound cards.

I'd buy a good set of speakers and a lower end sound card such as Soundblaster Live! 5.1

Why not a decent sound card? The speakers can only replicate however much quality the sound card puts out. I'd reccomend the Sound Blaster Audigy 2ZS which has a rebate right now, and the Logitech z-5300e.

There are two of them listed however, one costing $75.00 (with no mail-in-rebate given) and the other $99.99 (with a mail-in-rebate of $40.00 included). If you're really lazy you'll get the no mail-in-rebate option, but if you wanna take five minutes to make fifteen bucks, be my guest! For your speakers get the Logitech Z-2300 from ZipZoomFly for only $89.00. Amazon has them for $99.00 new, and $67.00 used from a untrustworthy store, so get the new ones from ZipZoomFly. These speakers have huge bass, great sound (200W of it). The subwoofer will last longer than the surface you put it on, guaranteed. I didn't check shipping for either, but rest assured if you use the mail-in-rebate or go with the $75.00 option you'll still be under $200.00.
