I need free drivers

i have a c-media sound card but need the driver, where do i get it? thanks

It would help if you post the exact model of the sound card, I assume it's somewhere here:

always go to the manufacturers website if you do not see a spot for drivers it usually found under the support tab. I would not get drivers from any other site because they could be infected or they could just not work right.

Go into device manager and right click on the sound device that needs a driver installed and click on properties, click on the details tab and give me the 4 digit vendor and device id numbers. They look like this.

That would be the vendor id but i also need the device id number. Look in my example where its located.
