I got a netgear router at home linked to window operating system and i got a Mac G4 powerbook, if i get a netgear usb adaptor and use on the powerbook wiil it work?

i found out that netgear usb doesn't support Mac. but this usb
Edimax Wireless LAN USB Adapter, 802.11g, 54Mbps work because the supplier provides Mac driver. will it work?
