I want to try and play the new game "TimeShift", but I get around 2 fps unless I look behind me. Before I continue:

AMD Athlon 64 3200+
1024 PC3200
160gb HD
e-Geforce 6800 128mb 8x

So, I know I can play it. From reading their faq, I need to update my sound drivers. I kind of agree, since I havn't touched my sound drivers for a while. The problem is, I have these defult sound drivers that don't seem to be cutting it. Realtek AC97? I have no clue what that is, but I know that my Win98 computer had it..

I can't seem to find any info about my mobo, besides the fact that its made by Asus (I think, lol). When I go to their site, i can't even find the mobo I THINK it is. I've opened up my case, and I found a lot of numbers, but generally none of them seem to actually relate to the mobo besides K8S-LA. From what I've seen, they just have K8S-MX on their site.
So, is there any way to find out 100% what my motherboard is?
Is there anyway to find out 100% what my integrated sound is?
Would knowing my mobo even matter when it comes to the sound drivers I need?

You are updating your sound drivers because of your slow FPS? I have the demo installed on my PC and I must say it plays fairly slow and laggy with my card (in sig) and it's a bit better then what you are running. My drivers for sound and Video are both up to date but the card is just not handling it too well.

From what I've read, there seems to get a really bad bug with the sound. During some areas were certain sounds are activated, the fps drops like 40-50. Atari is currently trying to get a get a fix on this.

Even then, this game seems kinda dumb. The time shift thing is pretty lame. I'd rather have matrix / Max Payne style shooter than a freakin suit that lets me freeze or slow time besides me. Makes it wayy to easy.
