I cannot play online nor download torrents

Hi,
When I try to download a torrent, the starting phase when the torrent connects to peers lasts forever.Also, I cannot play games online , I cannot find servers. I think the problems are related. Can you give me some hints, I have been searching for three hours and I don't seem to find a solution.

Hmm, have you restarted your router? if that doesn't work maybe just try calling your Internet Provider.. that Sounds like a internet issue to me!
