I blew up my speakers!

Hi,

My PC has fried 3 pairs of speakers in the last few weeks. Can anyone tell me why this is happening? Is it the power source or the sound card? Or is there something else wrong in my PC (maybe power supply)?

I use normal external PC speakers with a separate power plug and one sound card plug.

Can you clearify "fried" Are you blowing the speakers, the amps, what...? The sound card doesn't put out any voltage or anythough though the sound card, so it's not that.

How loud is he having the sound? #1 cause to blowing speakers out, having it to loud for the speaker.

Well there is power going from the plug to the speakers, but if that's happened on 3 different occasions then the problem must be inside the PC. I would check on the PSU.
