I'm impressed. I ordered an off-lease Dell in Canada from dfsdirect.ca, Optiplex Workstation, P2-400, 128MB RAM, 6.4gig, built-in NIC and shite ATI video for the gf. That replaced a 64MB 1Gig P90. C$330 with tax and delivery. God it runs XP beautifully. Sharing my internet with a crossover and setup a LAN. Sweet, sweet deal. Sure, I could only ever play network Starcraft with that little system but you can't beat the price!

dfsdirect.ca or laptopcentre.ca?

I found this old thread while searching the archives for comments on these companies, & wondered if anyone has done business with DFSDirect since the previous posts. Their prices are good but the listings aren't too detailed & there doesn't seem to be anyone available to answer the phone if you have product questions. You have to leave a message.
Also, has anyone bought from laptopcentre.ca ? Their site looks better & the listings are more detailed. Haven't phoned them yet.
Both have "F" ratings from the Better Business Bureau, but there's a suggestion that it may be because the BBB just doesn't have enough information on them. Not really a fair rating if that's the case.
Any other recommendations for good Canadian off-lease / refurb dealers?
