About time. A lot of their PC's are garbage. So are their printers.

wtf are they going to make now?
Though i would not buy an oem I have always had HP printers. Have 3 and one is a 722 for maybe 15 yrs or longer. Never had a problem with the printers. Never........
Have a 722, 932C and Designer Jet 110Plus.
You've been one of the lucky ones Tremmor. I for one am glad to see this happen.
I always had good luck with their 5000 series laser printers. I hate their inkjets, but then again I hate all inkjets

My question is why would they drop out?
They want to get out of physical hardware in favor of "services" and software. IBM did it, they figure that they can, too.
That's not really true. They pulled the webOS because they even admit that they rushed it and it didn't get the reception they expected of it. I'm no big fan of HP, but based off of various sources (google top computer companies) They have a huge fan base. They do something right. Just because people on the forums doesn't like them doesn't mean they are a bad company. Do the search, HP is always mentioned as one of the top in the industry, whether it be by sales or by customer rating.
A lot of people that buy HP don't know anything about computers.
Just another 2 cents from me.
