HP 4410t thin client laptops

I have two HP 4410t thin client LTs that won't allow me to rename; they keep going back to the HP default name when I try to rename them and put them on the domain. I've already reimaged them, and they seem fine otherwise. Any help?
 
Is the write filter on by chance? I believe there is a padlock in the taskbar. Double click that.

I have a thinclient, but it's not a laptop. So not sure if there is really a writefilter on those.

I think you may be right

I thought of that after I left the client site, and now that someone has seconded that thought I'm thinking that could be it. I can still work on these laptops, so I'm going back and try your suggestion. Thanks!
