How to share internet wirelessly between a PC and a laptop... What do I need???

Hi

I have a laptop upstairs and a pc + printer downstairs. I want to enable the laptop to have wireless internet and printing capabilities in the house. What do I need? People say I need a wireless router. But how do I share the printer? Can anyone advice me on products or models?
 
they can all share printers, the sharing of a printer is setting that is done on the machine with the printer, it requires not special functionality from the wireless router.
