this question may have possibly been answered, but i did not find so, yet.
i bought a netgear wireless router and have set it up on my desktop computer, internet works and everything, but i'd like to ask how i can get my laptop to get internet from this. maybe help give some step-by-step directions because i dont remember exactly where you go to check ip config and if the router sees my laptop. i'm totally lost on this networking stuff. and then my laptop also has the wireless thing. i see a couple of networks, but i dont exactly understand how it works and i do see a couple, but have no idea who it is and how it works. any help would be greatly appreciated. or if there have been past posts, and internet links, that would be of great help too. thanks!
