How To: Labtec Microphone on Window 98SE.

That will depend mainly if there's a sound card installed on the older system there. Many older boards lacked onboard sound with the mic in option. Plus the Windows sound recorder was once used here on 98SE for any mic or line in type recording. There I made some custom wav files for assigning sounds to different functions until running into an old cd with a large collection. I still have that same model mic lying around here somewhere. For 98 it also will depend on the application like recording or live sound for voice?

I brought a refurbished LABTEC Verse 504 Multimedia PC Microphone, from ebay. for my younger brother, and i want to know how can i make it work on his older pc?

Should work just fine as long as the computer sound has a mic port.
