I need to contact Nvidia and invoke a manufacture's warranty. How do I find out what unique model/serial number my graphics card has (so the Nvidia tech support rep can tell when the card was purchased, to tell if it's still under warranty) without having to take it out? Because I'm scared that, if I take it out, I might accidentally damage something.

The model you can get from device manager but the serial number should be on a sticker somewhere on the video card itself. As far as removing the card, its pretty easy. There is a latch at the end of the slot that you have to release before the card will come out.
