HOw to erase erase everything...To boot up windows Xp..???

well my computer sucks...and i want to erase everything on my computer ..so theres nothin.,.no files no nothing...and i want to know how to start XP ....do i just put the c.d in and follow directions ??

another question eraseing windows Me ..now will that git ride of all my viruses? and adware and sh*t or will it always be on there???/////? thanks for the help
 
just put in the cd and have it boot to the cd first.

just follow the directions until you get to the part where it asks you about the partitions and deleting/creating partitions.

there, just have it delete any partition that you may of created and format the reamaining one, which is the one your installing on.
