How to check if i have 5.1 sount card??

As u can see i have sony vaio vgn-fe48e how can i check if my card is 5.1 or not????

You can look at the back of the PC and see if it has jacks for surround, center or sub speakers. Check in your control panel and look under Sounds and audio Devices.

No mate your laptop only supports 2 channel audio output- not 5.1.
If you really want 5.1 audio you could look into an external sound card- there's plenty of USB and firewire sound cards out there.
