how to burn down pc

Well i have odd request, as u can see. It may sound idiotic, but hey my pc is damn old i need to get a new one, "fortunately" since this still works i can't get finacial support from my parrents. Therefore i would like to know some ways how to ruin mother board or video card and it wouldn't look suspicious. To burn down CPU is simple, but unfortunately i can't do that, for certain reasons(I have other one, so i'd have to use it instead). So what i mean is that i'd like to ruin my pc that much that it wouldn't be worth repairing it.

We are not going to help you rip-off your parents. I know you might think this is crazy, but have you tried talking to them? Just discuss what you think the problem is and what you would like and/or need. They may be understanding of what you are saying. If they say no, and you really want/need a new PC then get a job and save some money.

Or just deal with having an old computer and be glad you have one.
