How to block access of specific computer at my network?
I want to allow some of my clients to use network resources (i.e software and media that I am sharing) and block access of some other clients of my network.
Which software should I use?

what platform are you running?

If you are running windows you could set up a win2k3 server and use active directory (AD) to manage user rights and permissions. Then when user X logs into the network and authenticates via AD they are mapped whatever network drives you want them to have access to. Policy will be pushed down to them from the AD server giving them access and rights to certain things you configure on the server end.
