How much to ask for this custom built PC?

I was wondering how much I should ask for this PC:

MSI K9N4 AM2 mobo:

4 x USB 2.0
1 x Ethernet
6 x audio port
Socket AM2
SLi ready
4 x DDR2 DIMMs
800MHz RAM standard
4 x SATA 3.0GB/s
2 x IDE


EVGA 256MB GDDR3 8600GTS

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ 2.7GHz

4GB RAM:
2 x 1GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2 800MHz
2 x 1GB OCz Platinum DDR2 800MHz

80GB SATA 7200RPM Seagate Barracuda
40GB laptop Toshiba (I have a converter to IDE)

DVD/CD Drive

Rosewill wireless card w/ 6 foot "pigtail" (basically a six foot wire)

Raidmax 420W PSU
6 x molex (4pin)
21A +12V rail

Raidmax Scorpio Black ATX case

No operating system.

Nothing wrong with this computer, just looking at maybe upgrading, and Im hoping I can do that with just selling this computer. so how much should I ask. Oh, and should I be able to include the OS, give a second price with it, thanks a lot!!
 
You will never be able to sell old tech and have enough cash from that sale to buy the new tech. I wish it worked that way though ^-^


Though id say ball park of 300 without shipping added.
 
wtf? that what i was told when i had the 8600gt and 4000+ proc :( i hate it that i can't spend my money on what I want...my dad always gets mad when I spend money on computers...

oh and im talkin on ebay, not here.
 
Well lets break it down

X2 5200+ $60
8600GTS $80
Raidmax Scorpio Black $60 (420w comes with it)
4GB Ram 40 bucks (or less)
80GB/40GB HDD $40
MSI K9N4 Nforce500 SLI $70
----------------------------------------
Total Cost Brand New = 350 factor in the fact it is used and the PSU has no room for upgrades to a 9800GT or higher and it drops value some.

Price is 300ish. I also gave you credit on the ram/hdd....since you can get a 250GB 16MB SATA for 55 bucks and you can snag 2x2GB sticks for 20 bucks with rebates.


But that is what id expect to get even on Ebay. You can try to make up the difference by charging 10-15 bucks more then it would be to ship it.



Also you can get a job...I use to cut lawns and shovel driveways during the winter made 50-60 bucks a day doing it and got into shape. I started when I was 8 so there is no reason you couldn't do the same to get funds for your PC builds.

My old man never complained that I was spending my money.

Wow. When I had an 8500, a 4000(2.1GHz) and 2GB ram, no additional 40GB HDD, i was offer 300 :P

Problem is that no one here really needs that kinda stuff done. I am hoping to work full time when I get into summer break. It just makes me mad that Im not allowed to spend the money I earn the way I want lol...

Well, I geuss prices HAVE changed since last time I put my computer on eBay...Thanks for letting me know before I make a fool of myself :D
 
I would do what I always did.

50% in the bank 25% for rent then other 25% I do what I wanted with. Parents should respect such a act.

Just tell um I am working...trying to help support myself and saving up for collage but I want some spending money for myself.

It's a Compaq!!
That's all i know about the computer i have right now

xD but I'm giving it to my grandma when i get the totally awsome new rig! xD
