How much should a computer repair man charge

hi i was just woundering how much you charge for like windows reanstle or virus removel or data recovery and so on.

For him to reinstall windows, where im gonna assume you have to own copy and he is using that to install with i would assume about $10-20 depending. Im not too sure about a virus removal, and for recovering data, thats from files deleted or a dead/corrupt harddrive?
 
Many in the UK charge around £20-£30/hour, you can expect around £60 for a reinstall using your own OS disc.

Data recovery would be hard to price depending if it has been overwritten or not.If it's a simple recovery then again around £60, but if specialist equipment needed for important data then it can run into hundreds.

$50 a hour. Personally all of the above is effortless and easy to do so I would invest learning how to do it. Makes you smarter and saves you money all at the same time.
 
the price some guys charge is a total disgrace, i mean something as simple as reinstalling windows isnt work £50 - £60, it isnt hard doesn`t take long, to just bare install windows without any extra software anything over £25 is a rip off
