Athlon XP-M is for notebooks..


With a little bit or research on CNet and Amazon I found out:

A year and a half ago it was $1,200 new. A lot of bad reviews about the design and unreliable parts.. I would say less than $700.

I run an XP-M in my desktop But yes I agree probably ~$600 for an honest pricing. You could get more if it came with an operating system, software (not the free ones), accessories, spare battery, etc.

I'm thinking in terms of retail. For a little more than $900 you can get an Athlon 64 notebook.

I also use an XP-M on a desktop motherboard. I use it for low power consumption.
