I'm a rookie and i'm sorry if i ask very dumb questions. I think since a week the audio on my laptop is interrupted every couple seconds, while the video's i watch play on. I googled and it might be that my driver for audio is not up to date anymore. Could that be the problem?
And if so, how do i uninstall it and install it again?
I bought my laptop -new- without any disks, and everything installed itself.

I'm kinda scared that if i uninstall the driver, i lost my audio completely, or can i download a new one online?

What is the make and model of your laptop and what operating system are you running and is it 32bit or 64bit?

Go here and download the latest audio driver and see what that does.

First link under audio.

Thank you. I went to the link, then went to driver download, then audio cards, then it asks me for series and i can choose from pci or pci-e and some other options? I don't know if i'm correct there. They should have called me blondie, i don't know that much about computers, sorry. I don't even know where to find my current audio card to uninstall and what's it called, sorry don't want to be annoying.

Just pick your OS, either 32 or 64 and the audio driver is about half way down. Just download it and save. Uninstall the old driver from Add and Remove, restart. Then just run the driver you downloaded and saved. Not for sure if that's your problem, but its just a updated driver, wont hurt anything.

My Os is 64 but i dont know where to write that? Driver download? It ended up telling me i can download audio conexant for windows 7 but i have no idea if that is what i need?

All you do is download the zipped file, unzip and then run the setup file. It should install automatically.
