Hi, I'm new first thread woot.
Okay well im not totally computer illiterate but I'm not a pro.
What I'm trying to do is
Every time my laptop starts, I want it to start recording through it's built in camera but have it so it runs in the background. And have the recordings sent to my email. Also I would like any web sites history sent to my email.
The reason why is I'm leaving my computer with my girlfriend while I deploy over seas...
Any help would be appreciated
 
Well, I'm not sure if it's right or even legal to spy on someone like this. But what you're thinking isn't going to work... video recordings are just way too big to be sent over e-mail.
 
Well it's not spying it's monitoring the use of my computer.
And that's what u thought but wouldn't I have to stream to a server and saved their?
 
Put your trust in the relationship and don't worry about the use of the laptop. If she finds out you are keeping tabs on her every movement online then that's a fast way to wreck the relationship. If it's meant to be then you have nothing to worry about, use your email to keep in touch with the girl you love, not to monitor what you think might happen while you are away. :good:

Sorry not willing to put any trust in anyone plus after my first deployment to afghan and hearing all my marines horror stories I'd like to be sure
Plus what's the difference between parents monitoring there kids and me monitoring my computer
 
The difference is that parents monitoring their children online is generally to protect them from predatory activity or being exposed to something detrimental, the overall goal is usually in keeping their kids safe. Monitoring a girlfriend you don't trust is just spying and an abuse of trust within itself. Good luck.
 
Mate, what you are asking us to help you with is illegal, immoral and generally ****in weird. If you cannot leave her alone without filming her, then i suggest you break up and get some counseling.

I would suggest it would be against this forum's rules to assist in illegal activity.
 
Mate, i appreciate your anxiety, it gets the best of us. As an ex-military guy, i understand completely, but hey, why dont you express your worries to her and set a plan of action so you both get what you need, then you can relax and concentrate on not getting shot.

The funny fact is this all came about when my friend told me about hacking into his gf profile and it got me all paranoid as he'll. Never even felt this way till a few hours ago
 
Yes, all you seek is most likely possible, however, even if you do catch her in the act, what will it accomplish? I thank you for serving in our armed forces, but I think that is just something you are going to have to deal with. Even if you set everything up and do spy on her, and she ends up being faithful but then finds out you spied on her, then what happens? She no longer trusts you and you threw away a good relationship.

There really is no right answer anyone can give you.
 
Yes but I'd like to know before I ask her. I bought her wedding ring and if I know I'll ask her to be mine and idk tell her but If she wasn't it confront her.
