I was wondering how I would changed the permissions so I could modify it on smbiosbios version 1.30
ACPI x64Can you tell us make and model of motherboard you have? I'm assuming this is a custom built computer? Store bought computers won't be able to be overclocked.
Intel DDR3 V000225020That's not your motherboard.
There has to be a way to overclock it, I can see the options in the BIOS menu but its all grey and cannot be modified. I have to get some sort of admin or root access or permissions to overclock it by either changing some settings or flashing the BIOS chip.Is this a laptop? If so, you can't overclock it. Sorry.

Flashing the BIOS chip would allow me to overclock it. I just need to right modded firmware for the BIOS.Shrug, you're clearly the expert then..
What specific options are you talking about? Can you show us a pic?
It shows the settings to the laptop and there must be a way to change it, like using a modded BIOS.There are no options on that page to modify anyway. It's telling you that you have a 1.6 ghz processor and 4gb of memory. You can't overclock laptops such as these. For one laptops can't control the heat as they are now. You will burn it up if they allow you to overclock them. Gaming laptops are another story, some of those are overclockable.

So your saying its impossible to overclock if Insyde 3.10 BIOS was modefied?Let us know how that goes..
With a motherboard model of "ACPI x64" your computing knowledge is clearly superior to anything we've seen yet..
that would be the overwhelming opinion, yes. So your saying its impossible to overclock if Insyde 3.10 BIOS was modefied?
So you're saying its impossible to overclock if Inside 3.10 BIOS was modified?
