How can I test my video capabilities of a desktop?

Can it be done with out downloading programs? I am running the set up in my sig.

What exactly do you mean by Video Capabilities? There is all kinds of benchmarks for the 6850 out.

You can do the basic 3dMark tests for free with 3dMark06, 3dMark Vantage, or the newest 3dMark

There's the Windows System Rating in the system properties window of Vista and 7, but it doesn't do much video testing besides Aero.
