Hook Up Speakers to Laptop

My laptop is usually in the same place and I was wondering if there is a way for me to hook up the 2.1 speakers I have to my laptop. It just has onboard sound and it looks like I have to sound jacks, a mic and a headphone. Is there anyway to do this?

if you have a PCMIA card, i think that creative has released some sound card that plugs into that slot.

you can either get a usb external soundcard or a PCMIA slot soundcad
