Ive got a virus on my new laptop that tries to persuade me to bye antivirus software, someone gave me a thing called smitfraudfix to download but it didnt work as im on vista and smitfraudfix only works on XP or 2000.
In alot of threads ive read about different problems, Highjackthis seems to be mentioned in alot of them.

What does it actually do?

And would it be good for me to get and help with my virus problem?

These two seem strange and you should check them out;

C:\Program Files\Image ActiveX Access\iesmin.exe
C:\Program Files\Image ActiveX Access\imsmn.exe

They most likely may be the virus or spyware. You may have noticed that this process was running at the time of the scan 13 times

The following are the registry keys for them;

But you should really take a look at the first two, a Google search for the first (C:\Program Files\Image ActiveX Access\iesmin.exe) came up with basically every site on the first page calling it a backdoor trojan and/or spyware
