This is what came up when I did a scan..my computer has recently had virus's and is runnin pretty slow so I was told to do a scan using hijackthis.de. Anything I can do?

Make sure to update this program.

Download ATF-Cleaner to your desktop from this link

Next, please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :

Restart your computer

After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;

Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu with options should appear;

Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press "Enter".

Choose your usual account.

Please disable 'mcafee'.

Run Hijack This from safe mode, close all windows except Hijack This, place a check to the left of the following items and press "fix checked".

Continuing from safemode, run the scanners.First 'Ewido', then 'Superantispyware'.

Run ATF-Cleaner from safe mode.Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.

Reboot into normal windows and post a new HJT log.

The 'entry' that i was concerned about is gone so i need some input from you.How is your system running now?.
You shouldn't have 'Messenger' running all the time, only when it is needed so do the following.Go to 'Start -> Programs -> Windows Messenger -> Tools -> Options -> Preferences'. Uncheck "Run this program when Windows Starts".

Also, are you behind a firewalled router.If not, install a software firewall.Also keep superantispyware- very good freebie.Also, download and install this freebie for spyware prevention http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html
 
Not exactly sure if my computer is working fine or not now...I have a laptop and it kept gettin hot after like 30 minutes and go really slow. Thanks for all your help though...I hope it worked.
