Looks good. Perhaps a better quality power supply would be better? I'm not 100% knowledgeable about PSUs, but other will be able to help.
Instead of the 7970, how about the NVIDIA GTX680? it's faster, cooler and quieter. Better drivers too.
If you want full high-end, EVGA have just released a version of the 680 with an inbuilt water cooling heatsink. You could put together a full watercooling kit for the GPUs too.

Good build otherwise. It'll be a ripper.

you can save and make it better.

X79: Overkill. YOu can do just as good gaming on a Z68 with a 2500k. If you want to stay on the X79 (x16/x16 SLI/CF can help), then get the 3820 quad core. It will perform in game just as well as the 3930K.

Hard drive is a good choice. you may want to look into the 3TB 7200 RPM seagate drive though, its only 199 at newegg, thats only $60 more for 3 times the space.

I agree on the GTX680. It is scoring better than the 7970 and is cheaper currently. It will only get better in the coming days as the drivers get better.

PSU is not great and is overkill. Go to a 850 watt from Antec, Corsair, OCZ, NZXT, PC power and cooling, Seasonic, Silverstone, or XFX. The less 12 volt rails the better. A 850 watt from XFX witht easy rail technology would be optimal.

Otherwise looks good. Killer rig.
