Not trying to put you off or what not or trying to patronise you if you have a fairly solid knowledge base in computers, but:

1. What case is this?
2. What size is it?

I ask this because the case may look good but there may be cooling issues and having a midi or even micro atx and not noticing because of not looking it up and just going from the pictures may mess your build up:

Motherboards may not fit
PSU may not fit
You may not have room for enough hard drives or CD drives

Just look into it alot more than "it looks good i'll take it"

Still, you are cleverer than these alienware fanboys who go, it looks good it must be good inside too, and pay for crap. good job on the self building :D

No worries..yeah i have looked into this and the case is a standard size case off amazon.
I see were your coming from and have brought a few books too..

Ive found maplin website to be pretty good too..need to compare it to others..

have a look at ebuyer.com and overclockers.co.uk, i have found that amazon and maplin can be a bit overpriced.
