i know this side of the forum doesnt get alot of attention but its proper to post here...
ok if i need to make one ethernet port and make it into two/three will this work???

If i understand correctly...
You want to have an ethernet go into that switch, and produce 3 or 4 more ethernets?
If so, that should work.

What are you doing with this? Small LANs?

A switch would only connect the computers, it would not connect to the ISP. If you want an ISP signal in there use a router, and plug the switch into port1. And yes this side of the forum does get a lot of attention. You just need to ask the right question

I have a router going to my switch thru ethernet, giving everyone connected an internet connection.
