Help!!

Hey my computer said that the registry got corrpted and to insert the cd to repair but the keyboard and mouse isnt working when it says hit any key to start.. I mean the whole keyboard and mouse thing has been doing that latley but when it got to the windows screen it would turn on and all weird but seem its not loading i cant click any key. What do i do? it was saying new hardware so it was corrupted but only thing thats new is my power supply and it was working fine and all. Please help thank you guys..
 
Try rebooting, with the 'F8' key and boot up in safe mode. if you can then goto
Programs
Acessories
System tools
System restore

let us know.
 
well the thing is that it goes to tha black screen and all telling u that its corrupted and all and my keyboard and mojuse dont work for some odddddd reason until the windows load comes up but it doesnt get there because its at the black screen telling me its corrupted..so the keyboard and mouse wont work so i dnt get it and i have so much shit on that hard drive
 
im just wondering if i should by another keyboard i dnt kno why tho it works and all just when the windows screen loads then it sees the keyboard and mouse
 
the thing is it says to put the cd in and hit repair to repair it and all but even if i do both i cant cuz the keyboard isnt working for some odd reason nor the mouse unless the computer boots up all the way then the computer sees the keyboard
 
Just curious, but can't you boot straight from the cd to run a program instead of running it from windows (a general question to everyone, not just you)? If so, why not pop in the cd before windows boots. Or try putting it in, turn it off, then turn it back on and boot from the cd.

It's just an idea, I wouldn't try it untill someone else says so.

If it doesn't work, reinstall windows I guess. Or try your old psu?
 
well i stuck the cd in and it doesnt and all it says hit any key to start from cd but keyboard is effin working hate that how it doesnt see it when you turn the comp on
 
i got it so the keyboard is working but b4 i like wipe it clean is there a way i can atleast get my music of it atleast and pictures?
