help with router and internet!

Ok i have a motorola surfboard cable modem, a netgear wgt624 wireless router, and 3 computers im trying to have connected to the internet. I had it set up before but i think someone went and changed some settings now i cant get them back. on the network conections screen i got 2 different ones, one is for the surfboard and one is for my ethernet card ( this is the main computer thet modem is plugged into. The internet is only working on this computer when i disable the ethernet card and just have the surfboard, but no other computers will ever get internet. The connect fine with the router but no internet. Can someone please tell me how i should have the ip addresses set and how the heck i can get my internet back?!

there should be a reset button on your router, press it and then cycle the power on your router. this will put everything else back at default. Then follow the same instructions you did the first time setting it up.
