help with network driver

my network adapter isnt working.

it says its installed but it has errors on it and i dont have the disk to reboot it
so im not sure what to do. ii cant go online with that computer and thats the computer with the cd burner. im stuck

Go to www.driverguide.com, search for a driver for the OS and card, download it and copy it to a floppy.

On the computer with the non-working card, uninstall current driver and try the new driver.

This may or may not do any good, sometimes NIC cards just go bad.

Or on the working Nic computer. Take that nic and its drives install it in a diffrent PCI slot and install the drivers and if that works puttttt the current NIC in the other computer and in it don't matter pci slot. Just a TroubleShooting tactic
