I downloaded IntCodec 6.0 and now I got this annoying yellow triangle with excalimation mark in the system tray with message dialog saying System Alert: Spyware Detected. System has detected 4 active spyware applications that may cause your computer to crash and restart... blah blah.. It is very annoying. I tried Adware 6.0, spybot &destroy, and Ccleaner. Didnt help! Anyone please help. What can I do about this ?

English isn't my first language. Hope the grammar is clear enough to understand. Please type in easy English. Thanks.

A pair of other free programs may help you out easy enough. AVG 7.1 Free edition is not only an antivirus utility but often catches spywares. The free version can be downloaded at http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5
Grisoft has recently acquired Ewido which is a free program as well and can be downloaded on another page at http://free.grisoft.com/doc/ewido-anti-spyware-free/lng/us/tpl/v5 AdAware 6.0 is totally "outdated"! at this time. You may want to get AdAware SE Personal at http://www.lavasoft.com

If you don't see these removed fast with these free programs there are several freewares along with sharewares(free to try out and buy later) found at http://www.majorgeeks.com/downloads31.html In addition to spyware tools you can also download a free version of a firewall program that alerts you on anything that tries to connect online. A basic version of Zone Alarm adds some extra protection to the system. http://www.zonelabs.com/store/content/company/products/znalm/freeDownload.jsp
Give these a try. If you still see those alerts some other methods can be tried as well as other programs like HiJack This as it is named. You did good on the spelling.

Please post a Hijack This log so that the files associated with the virus/spyware/hijacker can be identified.

Please download HJTsetup.exe from this link http://www.thespykiller.co.uk/files/HJTsetup.exe to your desktop.
Doubleclick on the HJTsetup.exe icon on your desktop.
By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Hijack This.
Continue to click "next" in the setup dialogue boxes until you get to the "Select Addition Tasks" dialogue.
Put a check by "Create a desktop icon" then click "Next" again.
Continue to follow the rest of the prompts from there.
At the final dialogue box click "Finish" and it will launch Hijack This.
Click on the "Do a system scan and save a logfile" button. It will scan and the log should open in notepad.
Click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" to copy the entire contents of the log and post it in this thread.
