help! reinstalled drivers many times.. still no sound!

Hi all
I just bought a new desktop and one of the problems I am having is no sound.
My motherboard is asus p5VD2-VM. The model is SoundMax integrated digital HD Audio.

There is a big yellow "!" "on SoundMax integrated digital HD Audio"
There is also a yellow "?" under another sub directory.

I have re-installed many times and still get no sound.. not sure what is wrong.

try finding an old driver one that you know has had an update install it and then update the driver i had some of the same problem but it was with getting 5.1 to work just had an outdated driver give it a try
