will this power supply work reliably with a computer with a Pentium D 820?
video card would be radeon x300se...
would this PSU support that?

Yes it will work, just dont plan on have a new gfx card or lots of drives.

Yea, i dont rate Thermaltake for PSU's, they're usually not very good. But seeing as its not a demanding Graphics card, you should be alright
