Help please

I have a netcore broadband router and I cannot get the internet to work on it. When I connect the cables I can have access to my 2nd computer but the internet doesn't work. What is causing it to do this? Once I unplug it and plug the cable back into my computer I have internet access again. Can anyone help?

waht do u have dsl or cable dsl u will have to make sure ur router has pppoe
 
Turn the power off to your modem, router, and computer. Plug the router in and let it boot up. Then, turn the power to your modem on let it get all of its signals. Then, turn computer on let it boot and you should be able to connect to the Internet.

If this doesn't work let me know.
 
You may need to put in specific information to either the router.. Or call the isp giving them the mac address of the router... There is some connection setup step your missing.
